STARBOARD ULTRA 2024
ULTRAVERSATILITY. SURF. ULTRA LIGHT. BUILT TO LAST.
With verified improvements in both wave surfing and early planing, Remi Vila's ULTRA concept invites you to turn more on the front foot, while maintaining speed and enjoying unrestricted freedom in bottom and top turns.
THE ULTRA IN DETAIL
Offering ULTRA agile maneuvers from the top and smooth turns from below, the innovative ULTRA concept thrives in real-world wave conditions. Quick acceleration quickly gets you into line-up, keeps you moving in critical sections, and allows you extra jumps on the way out. The ULTRA features centered volume and a thinner rail, improving turning and control. The innovative recessed platform is a design feature that Starboard introduced in 1994.

Super thin rails in the rear section with a smooth transition towards the center allow for effortless turning and plenty of grip.
A classic mono-concave nose feeds an innovative double-concave into the mono-concave midsection, before smoothly blending into a smooth, solidly V-shaped double-concave tail.
NARROW CONTOUR
With a narrower contour, additional volume is added around the centerline, improving consistency and confidence in marginal conditions. Plan ahead and maintain momentum and flow in critical situations.
With two lightweight Starboxes and a US-Box it reduces the critical swing weight from the tail. More reactivity.
The Starbox system allows you to adjust the Slot Box ends in five seconds each, preserving the last settings. Get back in the water faster. It is also compatible with US Box fins.
Drake foot straps are made from Yulex foam with the softest fabric for a comfortable feel. Underfoot, 10mm thick pads with a diamond-shaped groove pattern provide essential grip and comfort for extended sessions while remaining wear-resistant.
The rear pad is equipped with a reinforcement ramp, which allows better locking of the rear strap by rotating the foot when necessary.
PURE THRUSTER
The V in the tail is a lower shape, which is designed to work perfectly with the Thruster fin setup. If you are looking for a Quad configuration, you will find it in the HYPER, combined with a monoconcave in the rear section.
LIGHTWEIGHT BOARDS DESIGNED FROM THE SCRATCH FOR OUR LOWEST CARBON FOOTPRINT
Developed by Jean Louis Colmas in 1984, Wood Technology became Starboard's signature construction in 1995. Wood Technology remains a favorite of riders who prefer more comfort, more control and the uniquely crisp feel of an original Starboard. It is time to recover this technology and at the same time reduce our CO2 footprint. Sandwich lamination of 0,6mm Australian pine wood over a modern 3mm recyclable PET foam core ensures durability and comfort with a good strength-to-weight ratio. Today's wood is less visible in modern graphics; UV protected with fresh blue paint and stickers that complement the natural grain to a really nice effect. An elegant reissue of a classic Starboard Original.
