The 9’6″ x 31″ GO Surf was designed for lighter riders and especially for women up to 95kg, offering a board that is lighter to carry, offers good glide and stability, yet is totally agile and responsive for turning in the waves.
The design of this model has taken cues from Starboard’s best sellers, reducing the outline of the Avanti, as well as using the rails and bottom shape of our popular Wedge model.
The 31″ wide outline and flat deck provide a stable and safe paddling experience.
The 9’6″ length allows for very fast take-offs and quick, easy escapes. It also has excellent maneuverability as well as a classic longboard style. I highly recommend this board to anyone looking for a board that will take you from cruising to surfing and is easy to transport
Designed for surfing and regular cruising
The rounded nose profile is quite complete, combining stability with good paddling performance. The rounded tail has enough surface area to balance the glide, but is still sensitive in turns when you step back on the tail.
LIMITED SERIES
TIMELESS LOOKS, SOLID PERFORMANCE
Twin T-stringers on the deck and bottom are placed close to the rails and greatly increase overall strength.
An additional wide layer of 200g glass wraps around the rails for added strength.
The deck features reinforced biaxial glass and Australian pine.
The nose and tail are wrapped with multiple layers of fibreglass. This provides maximum stability.
