The Foil X is designed for ease of use and freeride. Deep cuts provide a subtle slip. The reduced volume of the glue makes it easier to activate the foil. The board lifts easily after landings due to the wider tip line and rocker. Adjustable footstraps allow for first pointe and freestyle maneuvers at the same time.

Developed by Jean Louis Colmas in 1984, Wood technology became Starboard's signature construction in 1995.

Wood technology remains a favorite of riders who prefer more comfort, more control and the unique crunchy feel of an original Starboard.

The time has come to recover this technology while reducing our CO2 footprint. Full sandwich lamination of 0,6mm Australian pine wood over a modern 3mm recyclable PET foam core ensures durability and comfort with a good strength-to-weight ratio.

Today's wood is less visible in modern graphics; UV protected with fresh blue paint and decals that complement the natural grain to a really nice effect. A classy reissue of a classic Starboard Original.
