Description
SEVERNE FOIL FREEK _FOILSTYLE
The new FoilFreek has a higher aspect to minimize any fore and aft movement of the sail power, keeping it balanced directly on the foil. Taller sails provide more leverage, improving efficiency in light winds. And longer, stiffer masts allow for greater skin tension for better control in high winds.
The FoilFreek uses new GRADIENT PANEL TECHNOLOGY. The corners have overlapping panels, reducing the number of patches. At the same time, these overlapping areas extend into the body of the sail, so the load is transferred much better and stretches less over time. It is a more stable way of building sails.
Instead of a single curved luff panel, the FoilFreek uses separate panels that radiate from the bow and tack corners. This perfectly aligns the sail material with the direction of the load. Previously, the curved panel stretched in all the wrong places. Direct power transmission. Greater longevity.
Sizes 4,8 to 5,6 can be mounted on a 430 RDM mast, and sizes 4,0 to 4,8 can be mounted on a 400. (4,8 is the crossover size, can be mounted on either of the two)

GRADIENT PANEL TECHNOLOGY
With the new GRADIENT PANEL TECHNOLOGY the improvements are obvious. Lighter weight and better stability.
Using the new GRADIENT PANEL TECHNOLOGY. The corners have overlapping panels, reducing the number of patches. At the same time, these overlapping areas extend into the body of the sail, so the load transition is much better and will stretch less over time. It is a more stable way of building sails.
GRADIENT PANEL TECHNOLOGY logically reduces weight, increases strength and controls stretching. The overall weight is reduced, but the most significant improvement is the feel: faster reaction and lighter feel.
Instead of a single curved luff panel, we use separate panels (split luff) that radiate from the bow and tack corners. This perfectly aligns the sail material with the direction of the load.
Previously, the curved panel stretched in all the wrong places. Direct power transmission. Greater longevity.
HOW MANY SABERS DOES THE FOILFREEK HAVE?
All FoilFreek sizes have 4 slats.
CAN I USE THE FOILFREEK AS A FREESTYLE CANDLE?
The FoilFreek was designed specifically for foiling, but will also please Freestyle artists with its incredible acceleration and aggressive lift in light winds.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN FREEK AND FOILFREEK?
The Freek is a 5-batten freestyle performance wing.
The FoilFreek is a 4-batten freestyle foil sail designed specifically for that purpose.
