Description
SEVERNE NANO / NANO PRO _ALLROUND WAVE
The Nano is compact so it fits perfectly in any wave's pocket and can carve hard.
The contour and channel bottom offer instant acceleration, grip and tight radius turns.
Sizes from 87 onwards have been redesigned to offer earlier planing and greater speed. All Nanos are now exclusively four-fin configurations, saving the weight of a fifth fin and better complementing the board's features.
Inspired by Tomo's new school surfboards, the Nano is a new wave riding sensation.
Its parallel rails mean the width is narrower than on a traditional board, making you feel like you're riding a smaller board. The efficiency of parallel rails means you're up and planing as if you were riding a larger board. Initially conceived as a small wave, inshore-oriented design, the Nano proved to be much more.
For 024 a Nano Pro is added with a new ultralight construction and a fresh color scheme. The Nano Pro offers ultra-fast reactivity and high-resolution precision.
Nano Pro has the lightest EPS core available and reinforcements placed in the most demanding points. Biax carbon in the deck and bottom, along with carbon composite fin boxes, give you that electric responsiveness.

TECHNOLOGY
1. OUTLINE
The parallel contour decreases resistance and increases stability. The overall width is reduced, helping the boards appear smaller and more maneuverable. After careful balancing of volume distribution, the nose has been retracted to reduce rolling weight and speed up reaction.
The tail area has been increased for more power and drive.
2. REFINED BOTTOM
The shape of the double concave/V bottom is maintained. Total V has been reduced to improve acceleration and early planing.
Rear channels have been added to increase grip and surface area. It also acts as an additional rear kick for tighter turns.
3. COMPACT VOLUME DISTRIBUTION
The reduced length focuses volume where you need it. Optimized deck angles transition from low-volume rails to a high-volume standing area.
1. PROGRESSIVE RAIL DESIGN
The hard release edge at the tail of the board becomes progressively rounded and soft towards the front of the board.
The apex of the rail becomes progressively higher through the front sections to prevent snagging. Bevels on the front sections raise the apex even further for more clearance and increased hit rate of landed moves.
5. FOUR FINS
Four fins provide a responsive surf feel with grip and increased stability.
