If you like to go further in wave surfing (Prone, SUP, Wing or Wake), these will blow you away. Are you looking to push harder, make tighter turns and want an even more connected surf experience? Our new Black ADVANCE+ fuselage configuration is for you. This design moves the mast position forward 40mm closer to the front foil, opening up completely new options for surf performance. Our range of Current Black fairings suit most riders across all disciplines perfectly, while these new Black ADVANCE fairings are not intended to replace them, but rather provide performance options and a more connected feel when pushing the limits. If you are an intermediate or expert surfer/wave rider, this could be a big upgrade for you.

One consideration when moving the position of the mast on the fuselage forward is that the effective length of the rear fuselage to the rear stabilizer foil increases with the distance the mast advances. For this reason, we are introducing a new waist size, the 'Sillyshort'. When choosing your Advance Black Fuselage, it is advisable to take this into account and perhaps opt for a shorter length than what you are used to using. If you are currently wearing an Ultrashort, you might consider the Crazyshort. Available in Ultrashort, Crazyshort and a brand new Sillyshort (560mm only). Compatible with ART and HPS wings, but also suitable for the smaller sizes of our PNG and BSC wings. Compared to our current black fuselage range, these 4 new little brothers provide a more flexible and faster transition from one side to the other. The sensation our testers liked is similar to the sensation of moving the fins forward on the tracks of a surfboard, initiating turns becomes easier, which is great in surfing. There is a small trade-off: this ease of turning comes at the expense of some tracking and speed stability. (So ​​expect to have a small effect on upwind ability when flying and the need to slightly adjust your pumping technique. If you like riding big waves at ultra-fast speed, you should consider regular black shafts instead.)

With the mast positioned further forward on the fuselage, the base plate position should be further forward on the boxes to place the wings in the same position as the normal black fuselage.

In an effort to reduce our cardboard footprint, these new Black ADVANCE airframes come with our new custom protective fuselage covers and no paper or cardboard boxes.
